We are all jointly responsible for the climate of change that we face today. We must all try to be part of the solution if we are to hope to effect real change for the better. At Payback Eco we aim to make it simple for anyone or any organization, to reduce and offset their GHG (Green House Gasses) emissions through investment into carefully chosen renewable energy, reforestation and agroforestry projects.

How does it work?

Follow these few simple steps:

1. Step one
Reduce your GHG emissions wherever possible, usually there are several small changes we can all make that will dramatically make a difference.

2. Step two
Look carefully at the source of your consumables, how far have they traveled, under what conditions are they produced, processed and disposed of? Calculate your current impact and see the many solutions that are available to you today.

3. Step three
Invest in worthwhile projects that not only absorb or sequester the same or more GHG’s than you are producing, but also offer some positive, measurable contribution and payback to the local and wider economy. Your purchase today goes to fund high-quality, independently verified projects aimed at balancing some or all of your environmental impact.

For each reforestation credit that you purchase and retire today, you will be absorbing at least one ton of C02 and GHG’s from the atmosphere through the careful planting of three long-living hardwood trees. We will continue to care and manage your trees for a minimum of fifteen years after planting out, often more and if your trees should die within their first three formative years we will replace them.
